Part 2B. Historical Perspectives and Current Research Articles and Video:

Parts 1 and 2A have given you an overview of heredity, genetics, and DNA.  The articles and video presented in Part 2B will aid you in understanding more about the DNA of identical twins.  As you and your partners read the articles and watch the video, think about how your learning in Parts 1 and 2A relate to the information about identical twins.  Complete Organizer 2B in order to summarize your learning.

Reciprocal Teaching Skills and Directions:
While completing Part 2B, you will be using what is sometimes referred to as "Reciprocal Teaching".  You and your group members will be using four different reading strategies to help you understand and get the most information from four different articles.  Please review the four strategies and expectations of each strategy in the overview document below.
