Module 4: Biases, Stereotypes, Aggressions, & Privilege
Part 6: Biases, Stereotypes, Aggressions, & Privilege - Optimistic Closure
This module has focused on understanding explicit and implicit bias, stereotypes and stereotype threat, microaggressions, and white privilege. Each of these concepts represents actions that maintain oppression, racism, and inequity in society. Some of these actions are conscious and overt, but others are unconscious or invisible to those that perpetrate or benefit from them. Changing oppressive systems requires an understanding of these tools and how to engage in antiracist work.

After you reflect on this fourth module, proceed to the Module 5: Responses to Race which will overview different white responses to race and racism.
