Racism is often expressed or manifested through biases, stereotypes, aggressions, and privilege. These expressions of racism may be intentional or unconscious. However, all acts of racism are damaging. To understand how our actions can be racist, this module will define and explore implicit and explicit bias, stereotypes and stereotype threat, macroaggressions and microaggressions, and white privilege. By developing this understanding, we can be aware of and fight against racist biases, stereotypes, aggressions, and privilege.
