Module 1: Socialization & Identity
Part 1: Introduction to socialization & Identity
This module will focus on identity by providing both background on identity and opportunities to explore your own identity. We all have identities that are influenced by our environments and society. However, some people, especially members of the dominant culture, may not have explored their own identities. Take time to explore the following resources and reflect on your own identity. We need to get to know ourselves and how we have been socialized in order to better understand the people around us. The goal is to prepare ourselves for antiracist action. Let's get started!
